Returns

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Time Frame: You must request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Condition: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are exempt from being returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our Customer Service team at customerservice@needthatidea.co.uk to request a return authorization.
  2. Return Authorization: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a return authorization number and instructions on how to send your item back to us.
  3. Packaging: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Clearly mark the return authorization number on the outside of the package.
  4. Shipping: Ship the item to the address provided in the return authorization instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Refund Eligibility

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed as follows:

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations, such as:

  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at customerservice@needthatidea.co.uk to arrange an exchange.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund within the expected time frame, please:

  1. Check Your Bank Account: It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  2. Contact Your Credit Card Company: Processing time may vary.
  3. Contact Your Bank: There may be a processing delay before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
